Certified Training Professional Certification

The Certified Training Professional (CTP) award is an international qualification in IT training. It sets the standard for classroom-based training by individual trainers and training organisations.

Audience

Individuals with prior teaching or training experience

To Attain the qualification

Self-study of CTP course materials – at your own pace and providing background knowledge regarding excellence in training.

Attend CTP Certification three-day workshop – produce documentary and video evidence of training competence.

Complete the Trainer’s Evidence Record – within the following month produce remaining documentary evidence of training competence.

Evidence Review – meet with the CTP tutor to review all evidence submitted.

What is CTP

CTP defines an objective standard for instructor-led training, and provides a mechanism for IT trainers to have their competence recognised and certified.

The Certified Training Professional qualification is the quality mark for IT training, and offers candidates the assurance of professional training delivery.

Holders of CTP are differentiated on the basis of quality of their work, and have the benefit of using the CTP logo and branding to promote their training.
