Overview

 This course is designed to develop ability in using many of the advance tools available within Microsoft Access.

 What is covered

Creating a new database and table, Field Properties

Queries, wildcards, sum, count, mathematical operators, average, calculated fields

Relationships, primary key, related tables, applying joins, referential integrity

Field Properties, default values, mandatory fields, validation rules, input masks

Forms, main/subform, wizards, linking forms, multiple table forms

Form Controls, calculated fields, wizards, combo, list, check boxes, option groups

Reports, wizards, calculated fields, percentages, headers, footers, printing

Import and Export Data, linking data

Action Queries, append, delete, make-table and update queries

Query Wizards, crosstab, find duplicates and find unmatched queries

Macros, actions, creating , attaching to controls, multiple action macros

 

CERTIFICATION

Candidates may choose to take the Advanced ECDL test using MS Access or the Access Core Level, MOS.

 

Objectives
