A new exciting program for kids (from 8+) Scratch this course will be targeted at young people from the ages of 7/8 up to secondary school students.  This is a new programme which will be introduced this coming September, we are delighted to be able to introduce a new and exciting course for our youth giving them the opportunity to do extra curricular activity alongside sports etc.  Scratch teaches computational thinking and problem solving using a simple-to-use, yet powerful, building block approach to software development.   Programming can help students with Maths.  Students using Scratch gain a better understanding of what a career in computing entails and can make more informed subject and CAO choices as a result.
